little women BIG CARS is a web serial comedy co-production of Eric Gersh and Emmy winning comedy writer, Sherry Coben. The show follows the lives of Meg, Barbara, Connie and Rocky, four suburban mothers in the thirties. Sherry Coben’s incredible ear for the way people speak and, maybe more importantly, think, gives us sparkling dialog brought to life by an excellent cast of Los Angeles actors.

Another EMG project for Renee Daalder, “Here is Always Somewhere Else” is Daalder’s insightful and comprehensive look at the life and work of Dutch/Californian artist Bas Jan Ader. Ader was lost at sea while attempting to cross the Atlantic in a small, very small, boat in the 1970s.

This two disc set contains the documentary as well as the collected video works of Ader. This is the first time for most audiences to see these works in good quality. Check our Amazon store for your copy. Release is set for November 2008.

What happens when Dutch director Renee Daalder turns his eye to the 1970’s punk scene in his newly adopted Los Angeles? Population One is musical mayhem in a one man bunker at the end of the world. Tomata du Plenty, of the punk band the Screamers, and Sheila Edwards star in this real time descent into madness. EMG put together the menu and authored the DVD for the two disc set that also features Beck at the tender age of twelve. Watch for this one of a kind release, coming October ’08.
